공정 엔지니어의 역할

by 콜말핑 2023. 3. 14.

(A) Process Flow Diagrams (PFD)
(B) Equipment Datasheets
(C) Process Descriptions
(D) Equipment List
(E) Piping & Instrument Diagrams (P&ID)
(F) Process Information Data Sheets
(G) Duty Specification

각 문서에 대한 특징은 아래와 같습니다.

A. The Process Flow Diagrams are primarily a communication of the general process design to the client for his review, comments, and approval. After it is approved, it is used by:
1) Piping and plant layout to establish the equipment arrangement and building requirements.
2) Instrument Engineering as a basis for their input to P&ID’s.
3) Other groups to scope the work to be done.
4) Preparation for Equipment process data sheets.

B. The Equipment Datasheets are used to provide detailed information for detail design of major equipment, and to summarize specific process information.
Mechanical Data Sheets are prepared by Process Engineers and contain specifications of major process equipment (vessels, pumps, heat exchangers, etc.).  Based on the information in these data sheets, the Mechanical Engineering prepare inquiries, select vendors and issue requisitions for the equipment,

C. The Process Descriptions are fundamental to the system design approach that the function, design bases, operating modes, and principal features of systems be established at an early point in the design effort, preferably while considering general plant criteria.

D. Equipment Lists are prepared by Process Engineers to coordinate the process equipment.  All process major equipment should be listed in these lists.  The detailed specification will be filled up by mechanical dept., electrical dept. and procurement dept. and used as reference information and check list for other dept.

E. Piping and Instrument Diagrams (also called Engineering Flow Diagrams) are prepared jointly by the Process Engineering and Instrument Engineering Groups, and contain the detailed specifications required by Piping, Mechanical, Electrical, and Instrument Engineering.

F. Process Information Datasheets are prepared by process engineers to summarize process information for other specialists, e.g., Piping, Instrumentation, Environmental, etc.

G. Duty Specifications are prepared by process engineers to define the process requirement of package system.
These Duty Specifications are used to provide project specification for procurement of packaged system.
